John Bradshaw Layfield revealed on his Facebook page that he has reached a deal with WWE to return full time as a commentator on SmackDown.

"I will doing Smackdown with Josh Matthews," JBL wrote. "I have filled in on Main Event some but mainly when Miz has a large part in the show and can't do commentary.

"Raw is 100% Jerry's. He and Michael are a great team, I enjoy listening to Jerry and there are no plans for a three man booth with me in it. I am happy on Smackdown."

but I don't watch smackdown JBL, don't be happy with "just smackdown" Crying or Very sad

At least PPV's will be improved though, I assume he'd be on those. Hoping that really King will come back and announce he will leave soon, have a cry etc.

But JBL and Cole, for me, Is THE team.

Now Cole seems to have dropped the aggressive heel character he's been for the past couple of years, yes. if Cole was still doing that, they'd pretty much be the same person.

Although I do like Josh Matthews, once he's settled down and got used to JBL's aggression, he's going to be great.

Yeah, I like when JBL just rips into the "dweeb" micheal cole. JBL is so comfortable as a heel, he doesn't need any thinking time, just responds to anything Cole says and rips him apart. It's a good chemistry.

Great news. I really did enjoy JBL's last run as Smackdown commentator with Michael Cole a few years back.

I assume that it'll it be Cole as lead play-by-play man with Lawler and JBL as the Raw and SD colour commentators. That's how it's been up to now at least. Having JBL with him might make Lawler up his game. Or maybe it'll make him decide to retire.
