Dixie Carter is apparently interested in selling TNA, the company has a few parties who are positioning themselves for a potential purchase. One would think that The Carters would at listen to the serious buyers.

Could be the springboard they need or the beginning of the end depending on who buys it, although more than likely nothing will come of this .

Who would want to buy a company that just loses money and has some guys on big contracts? TNA needs a big clearout, to sort out the creative side and find their own guy who can be a star that will attract people to watch them.

I don't think Vince would touch TNA. I honestly think there are at most four guys Vince would want - Jeff Hardy, Kurt Angle (as long as he doesn't get arrested anymore), Sting for the HoF / DVD / Undertaker match, and possibly Magnus. For the outlay he'd have to make to either pay the rest off or keep up their contracts, TNA just wouldn't be worth his while.

Something along the lines of the invasion I think could be do able if he were to get TNA, obviously pretty much anyone on the internet or older fans would know whats going on but still.

Others Vince or Triple H may touch AJ Styles, Mr Anderson (If kept away from Orton), Austin Aries, could see Vince liking Rampage Jackson and Samoa Joe (only for the lower card if on the right contract).

I think Vince could buy it. As already mentioned Jeff hardy, Anderson, Angle, Magnus will all be assets. AJ styles, Samoa joe and Austin Aries will be too.

Even though bobby roode is a great singles star, I think another run with James storm in the WWE's push on the tag ten division won't do either of them no harm. Put in kazaniels there too. I no Christopher Daniels is 40ish and many think he's too old bit they have just bought back Goldust and he's the champ. MCMG's another tag team to use.

So there is potential for WWE to grow from TNA stars.

AJ Styles is a spot monkey, with a thick Deep South accent. If he goes to WWE, it'll be as a comedy character.

Samoa Joe: If WWE wanted him, they'd have signed him by now. With Punk and supposedly Cena being mates of his, and Foley bigging him up massively to Vince, he;d have already signed for them.

Anderson: not a chance. In WWE, he was over-rated, injury-prone and a laughing stock with his excuses for being caught taking steroids. no chance would Vince or Trips go anywhere near him. Again, I think his contract was renewed a while back - if WWE wanted him, they'd have gone for him.

Bobby Roode: would need to come off the steroids.

Rampage Jackson: isn't a wrestler. Lesnar already has the MMA hardnut spot.

Christopher Daniels: over 40, he's a tag wrestler and never really made it as a singles star. I'd rather WWE pushed their own tag stars. Same with Kazarian.

Austin Aries is a possibility, but he'd be buried in the mid-card the instant he got there and I can't see his ego allowing that...

Plus, there's also Vince's ego to consider. When was the last time they signed someone from a rival company and pushed him as a star straightaway? Everyone from TNA has either been dumped in development, so kept on Superstars. From RoH, CM Punk and Daniel Bryan had to wait a couple of years before being pushed. Christian returned and got dumped on ECW. The vast majority of TNA's big names are rattling on, around 40 years old.

The last guy I can think that came to WWE with a biggish name and reputation was Sin Cara - and loo how that's worked out.

Think Grecian has it pretty much spot on, although I did like Anderson's character in WWE the whole "Mr Kennedy" thing.

a fantasy suggestion, but he's very old, has a net worth of $2 billion (must be way more than when he owned WCW) and he could seriously challenge Vince by throwing money into it. A good way to go out, right? More exciting than the news network wars with Murdoch.

In response to online reports that the Carter family is looking to sell TNA Wrestling, Janice Carter, mother of president Dixie Carter, issued a memo to employees on Nov. 1 squashing rumors of sale talks and that her family was fully committed to the organization. However, according to F4WOnline.com, she is lying as multiple sources within the organization have stated that negotiations are currently being held for potential buyers. Furthermore, nearly everyone who has been speculated online, including musician and Resistance Pro Wrestling owner Billy Corgan, is not involved in the negotiations.

It is said that some WWE officials are following the story very closely, with one source quoted as saying "more so than people would ever imagine." It is not because the sports-entertainment organization is interested in purchasing TNA, but rather because they are curious to know who desires to and what the status will be of some talents (specifically Hulk Hogan and Sting).

Calling a shade of bullshit on this one. it's already obvious that Hogan is out of TNA, he's out of contract and can do whatever he wants.
