So, last night, I managed to watch almost a whole episode of Impact. And I have questions...:

Does TNA have any kind of drug policy? It was almost like watching 1980's WWE, the size of some of the guys.

Eric Young - last time I watched, he was a comedy character. Now he's the world champion? Are people happy with this?

Jeff Hardy / Willow... what the hell?

Bully Ray - is he a face now?

Bully was special ref in the match to determine dixie's role in TNA. Where he screwed her and Bobby Roode royaly, so yep.

This is the only time Jeff has spoken with any confidence, so i'm willing to give it a few more weeks. Kids love it I guess. It's not supposed to be a secret that it's jeff. Though they didn't really explain how he was rehired under a new name, probably MVP. Tenay to blame because he's useless with storylines.

I like EY. His work with world elite was great, and he hits a sick piledriver. The comedy has always held him back though. The turned him serious when he brought back Abyss from Park. He was trying to show him that it's okay to be Abyss, then Abyss turned wild and EY had a monsters ball etc to try and stop his mistake. MVP then overlooked EY, until he but a promo about how he is a top wrestler, but for years he's been the guy who gets all the crap ideas thrust on him, but he does what he can for TNA. Doubt he mentioned Russo, but I heard it in my head. MVP gives him a chance and he takes it. Shocked he won, but I don't know how Magnus could look any weaker so losing the belt made sense.

Quote of the night Wrath of Dixie my arse. (can see her being back for more as she didn't do anything)

Only real big people I can think are EC3 and Jessie and one is a body a builder the other from NXT. EY looks like an 80s guy though without being huge, Roode was always questionable.

I like the willow gimmick. As sexton says he's speaking with confidence. Tenay is really bad and tazz is t much better.

Haven't seen impact yet but read the results. Surprised EY won the belt. Magnus as the champion was really bad - even though it should of been great. He was never the main attraction on the shoe and I think the champion should be. MVP coming in as invester was probably bad timing for Magnus.

I was more looking at how absolutely cut some of them looked. All of them had stupidly big shoulders and delts, ripped abs... I'm guessing steroids have evolved since the 1980s. Even EY's shoulders looked ripped as hell.

steroids don't help with being cut I don't think. They get the initial size, but diet and lots of reps cuts in the definition. Maybe it's weird in comparison to Bryan, but I've not noticed other than the ones I mentioned. Roode always looks bulky. EY has possibley just bulked up but not bothered with definition. He may just eat a tonne of protein though. I thought he looked a bit like a mini warrior tbh. EC3 just looks like he lives in the gym like Cena does.(what a drop kick from EC3 btw he nearly flipped over haha) and Jessie was a body builder, apparently natural too.

More wrestle based stuff, I felt the 10 man thing was missing Aries and then Joe was missing from the show. Don't know if it's just storyline absenses though. Didn't hear anyone mention Aries once all show, unless I was taking a wizz.

Beautiful people back as heels is finaly happening, but I didn't see the match ending, or can't remember it.

and heeeeere's Aries. The show needs him, glad he's back.

Also I genuinely rate EC3. Him and Spud are being quality again.

Shame there's only about 40 people in the crowd

Here's one to ponder. EC3 wrestles like Orton, but EC3...

Has a personality. Pipe bomb

Orton has a personality. Matches his character - he's cold, calculating, nasty... A viper, if you will.

he has a lack of personality so has to wrestle like that. I just can't stand Orton when he opens his mouth. I don't doubt his gimmick and style works really well. EC3 Could end up like a charismatic Orton is all. My controversial thoughts anyway. Can't wait to see the Angle feud back on. Lots of limb targeting and methodical wrestling vs the suplex and submission specialist.

I felt that if last nights impact had any kind o production value it would have been brilliant. BroMans are a good tag team, Wolves are an intense tag team. Loved the so close yet so far ending. EC3/Spud vs Willow was a good segment including backstage stuff and with EC3 trying to portray a serious image with Spud trying to copy him. I wonder if Spud and Hardy will feud properly without EC3, it feels like that's what it's meant to be, since spud cost Jeff the title. But Angle hasn't been ready to wrestle so they kept EC3 involved with them instead. Three hardcore rules matches may be overkill, but it's one thing TNA can do that WWE doesn't.

I like the 'global force' x division too lol. Tigre does some mad moves, he's the best mainstream lucha i've seen in a long time. Sanada has good strong style, probably. I'll stop before I reveal I know nothing about Japanese strong style, but his suplexes look aggressive as anything. Kenny King looked good before he vanished, he's stronger than the others, but still leaps about, which will lead to good moments. Seemed good enough on the mic.

Appt from Dixie looking nervous again, don't know when she got so bad at promos, it was a good show. It would have seemed better if the production was improved and if the crowd listened and reacted, not just tried to be funny and fail.

I'm calling it now after 5 minutes. Sacrifice looks like it could be really good. I'm going to hazard a guess that they have a new crew. Editing seems sharp. It almost looks like a professional event. Better picture too, no grey tint or smokey picture. Even the mic worked!!!!!!

it helps that I like most of the wrestlers so far. X Division match was definitely strong style haha dangerous cunts. Leg trap suplex ddt, german into the turnbuckle, moonsault with leading knees.

I forgot it was on. Lately I haven't watched TNA as much as in I find myself fast forwarding 80% of it. Partially due to finding time I admit. I have read results of sacrifice.

Who's this British guy talking to Magnus? Sounds like an actor in a northern cop show and looks a bit like Cm Punk.

Hahahaha Spud and EC3 are quality! Sorry, but haha!

The whole show seems more British now. Not just the talent, but the promos and the comedy style. I don't case if people are snobbish about matches etc, but i'm enjoying this show. Dixie is more confident this week too. It's like a complete wrestling show. Matches aren't bad for post PPV either. It's not just rematch rematch rematch. The crowd is okay too! They influenced Abyss right at the start and he rolled with it. It's kind of attitude era style, obviously they can't get the cream of new talent, but fuck it, it's enjoyable.

Watched last nights show. Interesting. MVP turning on EY? Not sure if I like it.

That British guy with Magnus is a WWE NXT guy. He was part of the accension. Wwe sacked him for beating up a copper.

Also read Kurt angle is out for 5 months.

haha a true Brit. Beat down with handcuffs a slight hint that WWE sacked him before any verdict? I can't imagine a foreigner in the USA could just beat up a policeman and not lose his Visa? So that would mean he wasn't guilty. Someone will know.

I liked his debut, got straight to the point. He's a nasty heel.

MVP needs to be heel imo too. As he is going to wrestle the only real way to do it is with him being a twat in charge. Hated his face work, it got no reaction and was just dragging on and on about being fair.

Still loving the tag teams. Robbie E sleeps with a child... 's belt. He nearly broke out laughing in his segment, but he doesn't mind making himself look like a twat for the sake of his character, a great worker imo. Some sick moments in the ladder match too. It was not the best, but for a regular show they risked alot to get Wolves over even more.

Just caught up with last weeks show. A pretty cool ending with Kenny King and Bobby Lashley joining forces with MVP (we have the return of the Nation of Domination)

I'm interested to see where this leads. MVP needs to win te belt at Slammerversary. I know he's good In The ring but I can't see EY being champ for long.

For the rest of the show, don't really remember a lot about it (mini mack wanted a train track build). Bobby Riode suspended. I can see him coming back as a face challange MVP - possible for the title. Bully Ray seems to be facing EC3 now angle is out long time. Gunnar visiting Samuel Shaw is strange. The beautiful People are good ATM.

Also - Anderson and storm in long tights, it doesn't look right. Put them both back in underpants. Their legs are to skinny for the long trunks haha

they all want to be Edge with their tights. It allows more room for designs and the knee pad is dead, so i'm fine with that lol. You either have tights or trunks with kickpad boots these days.

I've finally learned the Brit is called Bram! For two weeks I thought it was Americans unable to say Graham. Apparently his finisher is the curb stomp, ala Paul Burchill. Sure Magnus will turn face, but they could go for tag gold instead.

Another ala from when I used to watch TNA, there are now 4 Kizarny's and some stilts. Obviously the Freak is Rob Terry, I can't work out what or who crazy steve is. Does Spud have a brother lol? Taz still makes of laugh, he hasn't got a clue what's going on sometimes and I don't really care.

MVP was set for a stable in WWE wasn't he? I hope Anderson is the one to take him on, but Aries can have a go first.

I think they are setting up Gunner trying to help Shaw, because people go mad in the military, maybe they'll add a help for heroes twist mental health charity. Gunner will help Shaw get out and end up regretting it. Same as any Abyss story.

MVP is a guy I think WWE really dropped a bollock with. He can talk, wrestle, I loved his WWE gimmick, and they just nothing with him. Really hope he shows them what they missed out on.

I didn really see his run in wwe. I remember he went on a huge loosing streak after he lost the US title and his grand entrances got smaller and smaller. Did he get to the point to where he had no entrance music? You knew he was doomed as soon as he was paired with Matt Hardy...

This Bram is a decent actor. He'd have been a good edition to the Shield. An eventual Bram Vs EC3 main event feud would be something. It further proves that NxT is working.
